Adoption of the attached resolution giving municipal consent to a Sherburne County project on
CSAH No. 1 to provide edge line rumble strips from County Road 32 (Meadowvale Road) to the
north city limits.
BackgroundlDiscussion
Sherburne County has recently reconstructed this portion of CSAH No. 1. They are planning to
install edge line rumble strips. The rumble strips are proposed to be federally-funded and
therefore, requires a city resolution providing municipal consent for the project.

A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION GIVING MUNICIPAL CONSENT TO SHERBURNE
COUNTY HIGHWAY PROJECT WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS
WHEREAS, plans for Project SP 071-030-03 Pxoj. No. CHSP 07 (044) showing
proposed edge line rtunhle strips on County State Aid Highway 1 within
the limits of the City as a Federal Aid Project have been prepared and
presented to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
Minnesota that said plans be in all things approved.
Passed and adopted this 17s' day of March, 2008.
