RESOLUTION NO. 00.- 25
A REgOLUTION AMENDING TI-IE COMPREI-IENfi;IVE PLAN
TO CHANGE THE LAND USES FOR
CERTAIN PROPERTIES AS DESCRIBED
CASE NO. LU 00-3
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 462.355, Subdivision 2,
prescribes the procedure for amending the Comprehensive Plan, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing March 28,
2000, and recommended approval regarding the Comprehensive Plan
amendment request for the property generally described below;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Comprehensive Plan
amendment request and finds the changes to be in general conformance to the
adopted Comprehensive Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Elk River that the Land Use Plan be amended to change the land use of the
properties as described on Exhibit A (attached).

Parcel 1: From LI, Light Industrial to MR, Medium Density Residential
That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 33,
Range 26, Sherburne County, Minnesota which lies Southeasterly of the Southeasterly
right-of-way line of County State Aid Highway No. 13.
And that part of the North 165.00 feet of the West 1155.00 feet of the Northwest Quarter
of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 35.
All which lies Easterly and Southeasterly of a line drawn parallel with and distant 60.00
feet Easterly and Southeasterly of the following described line:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Southwest Quarter of Section 35; thence
South 89 degrees 51 minutes 13 seconds East, on an assumed bearing along the South
line of said Southwest Quarter, a distance of 1155.26 feet; thence North 32 degrees 51
minutes 28 seconds East, a distance of 326.12 feet to the actual point of beginning of
said line to be hereinafter described; thence continuing North 32 degrees 51 minutes 28
