RESOLUTION NO. 02~ 81
A RESOLUTION FOR TURNBACK APPROVAL ON TRUNK HIGHWAY NO. 169
At a meeting of the City Council of the City of Elk River, held on the 10th
August ,2002, the following Resolution was offered by Tveite
and seconded by Motin to wit:

WHEREAS the Commissioner of the Department of Transportation has prepared a turnback map
of County Road 33, known as Exhibit 2, and
WHEREAS the Commissioner of the Department of Transportation has the authority to turnback
a frontage road after construction if a lower governmental body other than Sherburne County accepts the
turnback through a resolution, and

WHEREAS the City of Elk River will accept a frontage road formerly known as County Road
NOW, THEN, BE IT RESOLVED that said part of County Road 33, known as Exhibit 2, be
approved and accepted by the City.
Upon the call of the roll, the following Council Members voted in favor of the Resolution:
Mayor Klinzin~, Councilmembers Motin, Dietz, Kuester, and Tveite
and the following Council Members voted against its adoption:
Resolution adopted.
