A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION FOR WORKERS' COMPENSATION INSURANCE
WHEREAS the law enables elected or appointed officials and Boards and Commissions of
the City to be covered by workers' compensation insurance; and
WHEREAS the Mayor and Councilmembers intent is that they will be included as employees;
and
WHEREAS
the following Boards and Commissions will be included as employees: · Planning Commission
· Park and Recreation Commission
· Utilities Commission
· Economic Development Authority
· Housing and Redevelopment Authority
· Heritage Preservation Commission
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Councilmembers and Boards
and Commissions of the City of Elk River, Minnesota be covered by the Minnesota Workers'
Compensation Law:
Passed and adopted this 23rd day of September 2002.
