Consider Personnel Committee Recommendation
The Personnel Committee has reviewed the new Information Technology Coordinator
position for placement in the City's pay plan. The Committee used the IT Coordinator
position description and data from comparable positions in other cities in its review. The
Committee also acknowledged that this position would evolve as other employees are added
to the department and as more management responsibilities are added.
Committee Recommendation - Place Information Technology Coordinator in pay
grade 4E and have the new IT Coordinator complete a job analysis questionnaire
within one year of hire to determine a job point value based on actual duties of the
position.
Action Requested
The Council is asked to approve the IT Coordinator pay range as stated above.
