Special Assessment Reapportionment
Attached is a list of special assessment reapportionments that reallocate existing
assessments to newly platted lots.
Action Requested
As is required by Minnesota Statutes, the City Council is asked to approve the special
assessment reapportionments as stated on the special assessment reapportionments
list attached to this memo.
New Assessments
There are various locations in the City where property owners may have access to
City sewer and water but for various reasons they have not been assessed for the
entire balance due. In those situations property owners are assessed at the time of
connection to municipal services. There is only one property to be assessed in 2002
for a connection to City services.
Action Requested
The City Council is asked to approve the lateral sanitary sewer assessment for Lee
and Margaret Valentine in the amount of $4,350 on Parcel 75-478-0105.
