SUBJECT: Consider Appointment to Park and Recreation Commission

· Commissioner Application - Arthur Jackett
The City Council interviewed Arthur Jackett for one of the two Planning Commission
vacancies. He was not appointed to the Planning Commission but has expressed an interest
in serving on the Park and Recreation Commission. I have had several conversations with
Mr. Jackett and he is willing to serve on the Park and Recreation Commission to fulfill the
vacancy left by the resignation of Commissioner Briggs.
If it pleases the Council, staff would request that Mr. Jackett be appointed to the Park and
Recreation Commission. He is available to start on the November 13th meeting.
