APPLICANT
Applicant: Stephanie Nadeau
Location of Establishment: 18336 Joplin Street N.W.
Zoning - Business Park (BP)
BACKGROUND
The applicant has completed the application process and successfully passed the background
check for the therapeutic massage and establishment licenses. The massage establishment
will be located in the Ideal Health Chiropractic building located in the West Business Park.
The City Council is considering an amendment to the ordinance, which would allow massage
establishments as an accessory use in the business park districts provided they are operating
in the confines of a medical or chiropractic establishment. If the Council adopts this
ordinance amendment, then the massage establishment license can be acted on.
ACTION REQUESTED
1. Approval of the therapeutic massage establishment license should be based on
approval or denial of the ordinance amendment allowing this as an accessory use in
the business park district.
2. Council motion to approve a therapeutic massage license for Stephanie Nadeau.
