SUBJECT: Equipment Purchases
On March 9, 2002, the wing blade on truck ff207 encountered a manhole casting that
caused extensive damage to the wing mounting frame. To prevent a reoccurrenc~ I
would like to update this truck to a wing blade with a spring trip edge. The cost of the
new mounting frame and wing blade will be about $&,800, including sales ta~ Lori
Johnson suggested that the purchase could be funded from the "Major Equipment Repair
and Maintenance" in the Equipment Reserve account.
