Memorandum
Date: November 15, 2001
To: Elk River HPC members
From: Bruce Penner, Commissioner
Subject: Notice of Resignation
Please accept this memorandum as written notice of my intent to resign my commission from the Elk River
Heritage Preservation Commission. This will serve as one-month notice with official resignation effective
after the close of the December 13, 2001 meeting. It has been a pleasure working with all of you and feel
we have accomplished much in this short time, including obtaining CLG status and approval to conduct an
historic context study and survey of the downtown area. I wish all of you the best of luck in our continuing
mission to preserve Elk River's heritage. Thank you for the opportunity to serve with you, it has truly been
a pleasure.
