Equipment Purchases
The 2002 budget contains equipment certificate funding to purchase a tandem axle dump
truck with snow plow equipment, an asphalt patching trailer, and a 4X4 pick-up truck.
All three of these items are available through the State of Minnesota Cooperative Purchasing
Program, so there is no need to go through the bidding process.
The budgeted amount for the three purchases is $186,500.00. The actual purchase price will
be:

for the truck
for the patch trailer
for the pick-up truck
Total, including sales tax
I will be present at Monday's Council meeting if there are any questions.
Requested action - City Council authorize the purchase of the dump track, patching trailer
and pickup truck through the State Bid Process with a funding source of equipment
certificates.
