Subject: AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE
FURNITURE
The city council recently authorized us to add another officer to Adult
Investigation. We are in the process of doing this, however we are
one (1) office short for this position.
We have decided to move both of our juvenile officers into one of the
current private offices used by one (1) of the juvenile officers. This
office is one of our largest offices that we had planned on using as a
two (2) person office when it was needed.
The time has come, so I am asking for authorization to purchase the
necessary furniture to make this a functioning two (2) person office. It
will cost approximately $3,200.00 for this expenditure, which will be
covered by our current budget.
