SUBJECT: Library Board Candidate
There presently is one vacancy on the Library Board. The city has
advertised to fill this vacancy for the past couple of months.
Richard Nelson is the only application that has been submitted for
the Library Board. (His application is attached). Mr. Nelson will be
present on Monday evening to meet the Council. I informed him that
the Council would want to meet him and maybe ask him a couple of
questions regarding his interest in the Library.
ACTION REQUESTED:
Meet and Interview Mr. Richard Nelson. Following the interview the
Council may consider appointing Mr. Nelson to the Library Board
for a three-year term ending on 1213112003.
