This week, work continues on the Light Rail Transit ~LRT} connection in downtown l1~Inneapn[is,
the Vehicle lvlaintenance facility ~VMI~} in Big Lake, and commuter rail stations in BIg Lake,
Anoka and coon Rapids details an upcoming canstructiQn activities are included below.

construction crews will be pouring rnedians and curbs on the south half of the ~`~ Street
North bridge over the BNI* #raln tracks. The south half of the bridge is being prepared
for exclusl~re use by the Hiawatha LRT line.
[ectrical work beneath the ~~~ Street North bridge aver the BN1~ tracks will conclude
this week.
crews will be doing rebar work on the deck of the south half of the 5~~ Street North
bridge aver 1394.
Soil correction war[c at the site of the downtown commuter rail #atlan continues.
pedestrian access to the southwest sidewalk corner at k~ Avenue North and ~~~ Avenue
North will be closed la#er this week. brews wilt besetting up traffic control far the future
removal and reconstruction of the sidewalk.

perk-and~ride is scheduled to begin Later this week. This additional an-site parking will

tracks. This work is being done to prepare far canstructian of a maintenance access
rand between ~ ~19`~ Avenue and the area across from the Riverdale park~and*rlde lot. Al[

Trucks will be hauling materials across 4'" Avenue toward the site of the future Nor#hstar

workt but motorists should be watchful far trucks and heavy equipment in the area.
