as outlinedni Exhibit A pursuant to Minnesota Statute X465.03.
Background/Discussion
Sponsors fox the 2008 Elk River Energy Expo were presented and approved at the April 14, 2008, City
Council meeting. Pex state statute, acceptance of donations must be approved in resolution format by a
nvo-thuds majority.

RESOLUTION #08-
RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING
CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE
CITY OF ELK RIVER
WHEREAS, the CitS~ of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals fox their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received donations in the year 2008 from various
individuals and organizations as itemized on Exhibit A, attached hereto, to be utilized fox the
2008 Elk River Energy Expo.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
by at least atwo-thuds majority vote, to accept the donations on the attached Exhibit in
accordance with the terms prescribed by the donors.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the Cits~ of Elk River this 5~' day of May, 2008
