RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION OF CONTRACT IN THE MATTER OF THE
JACKSON AVENUE/SCHOOL STREET INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT of 2008
WHEREAS pilrsuant to a City Council Resolution 08-20, passed at the Marc, 17, 2008 m et:ng,
competitive bids were solicited and received for the Jackson Avenue /School Street
Intersection Improvement; and
WHEREAS the City Council has considered the amount of tae Bids and the responsibility of the bidders
and dete nmmi ed that W.B. Miller, Inc, is the lowest responsible bidder;
NOW, T I RE ' .E, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of lk- River, Mnnesota:
1. The Mayor and City Administrator are authored and directed to execute} on behalf of the City, such
contract with W.B. MEer, Inc., as is approved by the City Attorney, for the completion of the
Jackson Avenue/School Street Intersection Improvement according to the approved plans and
specifications designed by City Councd Resolution.
The City Ad iinistrator is aut:honized and directed to forthwith retuxn to aE bidders the deposits
made with their bids upon execution of the contract specified above-
