Hire Jeff Gongoll as Community Development Director starting June 2, 2008 at step A of pay grade 15.
Background/Discussion
At the May 2 Council meeting, the Council approved a motion to offer the position of Community
Development Director to Jeff Gongoll. A background check on Mx. Gongoll has been completed. Mx.
Gongoll and I met to discuss and agree upon start date, pay, and other related items. In addition to the
pay and start date noted above, Mx. Gongoll's sick and vacation leaves far the first 18 months and year
respectively will be granted upon employment rather than accruing over time.
Financial Impact
This position is included in the 2008 Community Development department budget.
