Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River City Council
was called to order at 6:.50 p.m. by Mayor Duitsman.

COUNCIL AGENDA. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE
MOTION CARRIED 3-0.

COUNCILMEMBER FARBER MOVED TO APPROVE THE CONSENT AGENDA WITH THE

The City Administrator distributed an invoice from The Brimeyer Group, He
explained that The Bdmeyer Group is the executive search firm which the
Council hired to conduct the search for an Ecgnomic Development
Coordinator. He indicated that The Brimeyer Group is requesting a retainer of
$4,000.

COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO AUTHORIZE PAYMENT OF $4,000 AS A
RETAINER TO THE BRIMEYER GROUP, INC. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED
THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 3-0.
Staff Updates
General discussion was held regarding the following topics.
Dodge Avenue project
Possible joint City/County luncheon with MnDOT
Business Incubator which was previously discussed at the EDA meeting
