Background/Discussion The past couple of years TNT F'ixeworks has been granted a General Planning Permit to have a temporary sales tent in the Wal-Mart parking lot fox the sale of fireworks. To staffs knowledge there has not been any problems in this location. Introduction The applicants axe requesting a General Planning Permit to conduct fuework sales from a 30'x50' sales tent located in the Wal*Maxt parking lot, in the same location as last year. Overview The fireworks sales are proposed from June 22, 2008 through July 5, 2008; howecex, the tent may be setup a couple days prior to the sales starting. The hours of operation will be from 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. The proposed location is in the parking lot, straight out from the main entrance to the store. It appears that in this location the tent will not disrupt traffic flocv nor will it create any parking problems. There is also a temporary greenhouse in this parking lot located to the west of this proposed use. The zonuig code does not prohibit rivo general planning permits fox the same property.
