Authorization to fill the engineering technician position left vacant by the resignation of T'im
Bxezuia.
Background/Discussion
As the Council is aware, Engineering Technician Tim Bxezina recently resigned his position. Tim
has found a position with a firm in Brookutgs, South Dakota, which is closer to his home and
allows him to pursue a registration in land surveying which, in South Dakota, does not require a
four-year degree, as is required in Minnesota. With Tim's departure, we axe requesting
authorization to immediately fill the engineering technician position. We would be looking fox
somebody at Tim's level with 2 years of experience ox less.
Financial Impact
Financial impact on the city budget fox the remainder of this year and future years should be
neutral.
