Background/Discussion
Per Council direction at the May 12, 2008, woxksession, staff drafted a resolution amending the meeting
time of the City Council woxksession meetings held on the second Monday of the month to 6:00 p.m. ox
ixxunediately following the Economic Development Authority meeting, whichever is latex.

RESOLUTION 08-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE MEETING TIME FOR THE CITY
COUNCIL WORKSESSION MEETINGS
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Section 2-52 of the Elk River City Code, the time of day of City
CouncIl meetings shall be set by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deemed that the time for their woxksession meetings held
on the second Monday of the month shall change from 6:30 p.m. to 6:00
p.m. or immediately following the Economic Development meeting,
whichever is latex.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
Ricer, Minnesota that the City Council worksession meetings held on the
second Monday of the month shall be held at 6:00 p.m. ox immediately
following the meeting of the Economic Development Authority, whichever
is latex, effective June 9, 2008.
