A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
GRANTING A HIGHWAY EASEMENT TO MnDOT FOR THE
PURPOSES OF DRAINAGE FROM THE MULTIMODAL LOT
LOCATED ALONG TYLER STREET
WHEREAS
MnDOT plans to construct a multimodal lot on property adjacent to the
railroad tracks near 171st Avenue and Tyler Street; and
WHEREAS
the parking lot will require a stormwater quality control and detention
pond;and
WHEREAS
the outlet from this pond needs to cross City-owned property to get to the
outlet ditch.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
Minnesota:
The City Council does approve the highway easement for the multimodal
lot, understanding that the easement will be for drainage purposes only
and not used for any other construction.
The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the
easement and retum it to MnDOT.
