SUBJECT: General Planning Permit Application
Background
The City occasionally receives requests for planning issues that do not fit
under a Conditional Use Permit, a Variance or any other planning
applications. Council and staff have both indicated the desire for an
application form to be used to process these items. In order to deal with
these items quickly and consistently, staff has created a new permit.
The General Planning Permit was created to deal with miscellaneous issues
like temporary greenhouses, Christmas tree lots, farmers markets, etc. The
permit will be reviewed by staff and then sent to Council for consideration.
Staff is proposing a $50.00 fee to cover some of the administrative costs
associated with these applications.
Action Requested
Council motion to approve the $50.00 fee for General Planning applications.
