Safety Deposit Box

Request:
At times, the City has the need to use a safety deposit box for safe keeping of records.
Currently we use a safety deposit box at the First National Bank of Elk River. As part of
our records disaster plan we keep a duplicate copy of permanent records that are on
microfiche in the safety deposit box.
The bank requires that the City adopt a resolution authorizing the use of a safety deposit
box.
Action Requested:
Council motion adopting the attached resolution.

RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE USE
OF A SAFETY DEPOSIT BOX
WHEREAS,
The City Council of the City of Elk River recognizes the need for the use of
safety deposit boxes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Elk River
authorizes the rental of safe deposit boxes at the First National Bank of Elk River.
