Background/Discussion
\s the Council is aware, the proposed street section for the new extension of 193`' Aecnue is very
similar ro Orono Parkwa~° in that it is one lane in each direction, divided b~~ a median. The
existing porrion of 193"~ Iy~enue is proposed to be striped to s 3-lane configuration. Wide the
federal and State dollus used to help fund this project, it is necessary for the Cite Council to pass
a ~Jo Parking Resolution, since die sweet sections will not support parking along with the travel
lanes attached is a resolution in MnDO'1's format foi this purpose.

A RESOLUTION KELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON 193'i"
AVENUE FROM TH 169 TO CSAH 13
SA.P. X04-104-07 from Trunk IIighway 1G9 in the City of I ~,Ik River to
CS:'1H 13 (Twin Lakes Road) in the Citc of Ella River, Nlimiesota.
WHEREAS; this resolution ~i~as passed this 9`~ day of June, 2008, by the Citc of Ells Rivet
in Sherburne County, Minnesor~l. The Sunicipal corporation shall
hereinafter be called the "City`', WI'1NF.SSETpL
WHEREAS: the "Cite" has planned the improvement of 193"' Avenue, State Aid Route
Nn. 104 from'1'H 169 to CSAI 113 (Twin Lal.es Road) in the City of Ellc
River, IVIinne~sota; and
WHEREAS; the "Cits~" will be expending 11~Iunicipal Sttcct Aid Fiords on the
improvements of this Street; and
WHEREAS; this nnprovcment does not provide adequate width tot parking on both sides
of the street; and approval of the proposed constriction as a Municipal State
Aid Street ptojecc must therefore be conditioned upon certain parlung
restrictions.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED:
That the "City" shall ban the parking oI motor vehicles on both sides of 193"' Avenue
bcrivicen TH 169 and CSAH 13 (Twin Lakes Road) aT all times.
