PURCHASE OF ATV'S
In December of 1995, the City Council authorized the purchase of
two (2) ATV's for the Police Reserves. We have obtained four (4)
quotes for this purchase. For your convenience, I have enclosed
the above quotes with this memo.
The quotes were from Moon Motor Sales, Bristow's, Zimmerman Sport
Shop, and Riverview Sports. The lowest quote was from Moon Motor
Sales for two (2) 1996 Polaris 300, four wheel drive ATV's at a
price of $10,537.44 (ten thousand, five hundred thirty-seven
dollars and forty-four cents). Included in this price are helmets
(2), an 8'xlo' trailer, 60" plow and mounting kit, and a 4-year
service contract.
