Action Requested
Council motion approving a pyrotechnic fireworks display license for Pete Rothfork with RES Specialty
Pyrotechnics, Inc. to conduct a pyrotechnic display at Lake Orono Park on July 4, 2008.
Background/Discussion
The applicant has applied for a display of fireworks/pyrotechnic special effects license for July 4, 2008 in
order to light a large fireworks display at the Elk River Chamber of Commerce sponsored Fourth of July
community event at Lake Orono Park. The applicant has submitted the certificate of liability insurance
and the fire chief has reviewed and approved the site plan.
