Action Requested
Mayor Klinzing is asked to open and continue the public hearing to the July 21, 2008 City Council
meeting.
Background/Discussion
Discussion and a public hearing regarding a proposed black dirt ordinance designed to conserve water
was scheduled for the June 10, 2008, Planning Commission meeting and the June 16, 2008, City Council
meeting. Staff is completing its review of the proposed ordinance that was prepared by the Utilities
Commission. Because the review is not yet complete, it is necessary to open and continue the public
hearing to the July 21, 2008 City Council meeting.
