Northstar Corridor Update
At the NCDA meeting held on January 9th the Authority listened to an overview of the
House/Senate Committee assignments. The Senate is favorable to the Northstar Corridor
while the House is not. The consultants felt that House will wait until Governor Pawlenty
makes his position clear before taking a position regarding commuter rail. The Governor is
still interested in meeting with the NCDA sometime in the first two weeks of February. The
Authority also received an update on what is being done regarding public relations.
