SUBJECT: Call Special HRA Meeting for September 17, 2007
Background
On May 14, 2007, the City Council authorized Carl Walker, Inc. to conduct a Downtown
Parking Study. The study includes an analysis of existing and future parking conditions, and
recommendations for parking management and conceptual design alternatives. Bill Surna,
Parking Specialist/Studies Specialist with Carl Walker, Inc. is scheduled to present the final
study and findings at the September 17, 2007 City Council meeting.
Requested Action
The HRA is asked to call a special meeting of the HRA for Monday, September 17, 2007 at
6:30 p.m. for the purpose of the presentation and discussion of the Downtown Parking
Study in conjunction with the City Council and Downtown Parking Focus Group.
