SALE OF FORFEITED VEHICLES
This memo is to inform the City Council that we received sixty (60)
sealed bids for the three (3) vehicles that we had been attempting
to sell. The high bids were $200 (two hundred dollars) for the
1961 Ford Falcon, $301 (three hundred and one dollars) for the 1983
Ford van, and $275.01 (two hundred, seventy-five dollars and one
cent) for the 1984 Dodge Omni.
I recommend that the City Council accept the high bids for the
respective vehicles.
I feel this was a very worthwhile and successful attempt at selling
these vehicles. I also feel the Star News and Joni Astrup should
be commended for assisting the City with the articles they printed.
