I wish to take this opportunity to commend you for a job well
done. On 01-30-96 you observed two suspicious males near Martin
Plaza in the City of Elk River. Acting on'instinct and training,
you investigated the situation, which resulted in the arrest of
two suspects for burglary. Your'actions on that evening are in
keeping with the highest standards of not only the Elk River
Police Department, but Law Enforcement nation wide. The effort
you put forth is to be commended.

This is to commend you for your performance in the arrest of two juvenile subject on November
13, 1995. Through your initiative and persistence, two juveniles were arrested for criminal
damage to and theft fi.om vehicles. Because you took the initiative to follow the suspects
shoeprints in the snow on a cold November night we were able to dear up numerous other crimes
and no doubt prevent furore ones.
