Call a joint workshop with the EDA and City Council on Monday, August 11, 2008, to review the
activities and discuss the issues regarding the Gateway development site and the surrounding area.
Background/Discussion
Over the past few weeks, we have received inquiries and requests to purchase portions of the Gateway
property. Also, we have recently received additional financial information from the principals of the
entertainment group. This information is currently being analyzed.
At the workshop we will present information for review, and request further discussion of the short and
long term possibilities and uses that could take place on this site and in this area.
The workshop will be held immediately following the regular EDA meeting.
