Council motion to call a special meeting for Thursday, September 11, 2008.
Background/Discussion
Per state statute the city is required to canvass the results of the Primary Election within two days after
the primary. A quorum on the Council acts as the Canvassing Board and must adopt a resolution
certifying the results of the Primary by September 11, 2008.
