It is requested that Mayor and Council adopt the attached resolution acknowledging the monetary
contribution from the following donors pursuant to Minnesota State Statute 465.03.
The City of Elk River Parks & Recreation received the following donations:
• 2-Complete sets of golf clubs with leather bags, cart and wood covers from Donna Aust
• $50 donations from Elk River Anytime Fitness, Kyle Torfin and Family, Infinite Light Wellness
Center, and Healing with Spirit
• $500 donation from Elk River Landfill; Waste Management
• $501 donation from Resource Recovery Technologies, LLC
• $716 donation from Builders Carpet
• $1500 donation from Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 3264
• $2500 donation from Greater Minnesota Credit Union
• $7000 donations from The Bank of Elk River and First National Bank, Elk River

Financial Impact
Contributions from several local businesses and individuals were received to be used for various
recreational opportunities including Safety Camp, National Night Out, and Fright Night.

RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING
CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE
CITY OF ELK RIVER
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and individuals for
their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received donations in the year 2008 from various individuals and
organizations as itemized on Exhibit A, attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River that the
donations on the attached Exhibit A are accepted in accordance with the terms prescribed by the
donors.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 215` day of July. 2008.
