AN ORDINANCE of THE CITY of ELK RIVER REGULATING FLAG LOTS
BYAMENDING
SECTION 30-1 "DEFINITIONS" S" AND ADDING SECTION 30-482 "F G
LOTS" of THE CITY CODE of ORDINANCES

The City Council of the City of f River does hereby ordain as follows:
Section .. That Section 30 -1, titled. " efinitlo s" of the City of Ells River Code of
Ordinances shall be amended by adding the folloWM'g definitions:
Access: A means o f veliicular or pedest6an approach, entL to, or eat ft-om property.
Flag Lot- means a lot so shaped that die building site area is set hack from the street on
which the lot fronts and the lot includes an access strip, which is at any point less than %
of die minimum lot Width requirement m the zoning di.st6ct, connecting the building site
area with the i'ronta e street.
