SUBJECT: Downtown North of Hwy 10 Redevelopment Plan Update
Background
At its June meeting the HRA reviewed the findings of the preliminary financial modeling.
The financial modeling template was developed to begin testing the financial feasibility of
sample land uses in the redevelopment area.
Update
Staff has been drafting changes to the recent financial modeling template to reflect the
direction provided by the HRA. Staff has been working through several issues that require
additional feedback and direction from the HRA regarding the original premise and vision
for this redevelopment area to be an "extension of downtown". Staff recently met with
HRA Chair Wilson to discuss the issues and received his agreement to organize an HRA
work session to be held in September to discuss the issues.
