Playground Equipment Bid
On March 2 I, 200 I, bids were received to furnish playground equipment for two parks.
Earl F. Andersen, Inc. of Bloomington was the only bidder.

Bidder is to furnish equipment and a supervisor for the installation. The City will furnish
the labor and miscellaneous material for each installation. Each bid came in under the
estimated budget amount. To complete the playground unit, the City will hire a local
contractor to pour a concrete sidewalk around each installation. This sidewalk hooks
to the park trail and also serves as the containment perimeter for the playground
cushion material.
Recommendation:
Council to approve Earl F. Andersen, Inc. bids of $39,396.72 for Riverplace Park and
$18,416. I 0 for Barrington Park with the funds to come from the park dedication
account.
