Attached is the staff report from Environmental Administrator Rebecca Haug that was
considered by the EDA last month.
The EDA requested to revisit this issue at its August meeting.

SUBJECT: EDA Representation on the Energy City Commission (ECC)
The Energy City Commission is charged with working with entities in completing
energy efficient and economically feasible projects in the Elk River area. Due to
the recent hire of Community Development Director, Jeff Gongoll who sat on the
Energy City Commission as the EDA representative, there is a position open on
the Commission for a representative from the EDA. It is a three year term, with
representatives being appointed by the City Council.
The ECC meets the third Wednesday of every month at 1:30 p.m. in the
Uppertown Conference Room. Please consider appointing someone from the
EDA to fill this position on the Energy City Commission.
