Council motion approving a pyrotechnic fireworks display license for Peter Rothfork with RES Specialty
Pyrotechnics, Inc. to conduct a pyrotechnic display at Elk River High School during football games on
August 28, September 12, September 26, and October 10.
Background/Discussion
Application was received on August 14, 2008, from RES Specialty Pyrotechnics, Inc. for a pyrotechnic
display license in order to light a large fireworks display at Elk River High School football games. The
dates of the firework displays are:

^ September 12
^ September 26
^ October 10
The Fireworks Operator Certification has been verified with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety.
The fire department has reviewed and approved the site plan.
