You're Invited to the Northstar Commuter Rail
Elk River Station Groundbreaking
It is time to break ground on the future of Minnesota transportation -Northstar
Commuter Rail! Construction of the Northstar station in Elk River will be in full
swing in the coming weeks and will be complete in time for the beginning of
Northstar service from Big Lake to downtown Minneapolis in November 2009.
Please join us as we celebrate this milestone. This is a great opportunity to
celebrate the achievements of Minnesota's first commuter rail line and the
supporters like you who have helped make it a reality.
The event will include remarks from city, county, state and federal officials. Photo
opportunities and an informal reception will follow the brief program.
