The Elk River Police Department is the recipient of a Safe and Sober Communities grant.

The Police Department has received a Safe and Sober grant award of approximately $35,000.

RESOLUTION 08-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT
BE IT RESOLVED that the Elk River Police Department enter into a grant agreement with the
Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Office of Traffic Safety for the project titled
SAFE & SOBER COMMUNITIES during the period from October 1, 2008 through
September 30, 2009.
Chief Jeffrey Beahen is hereby authorized to execute such agreements and
amendments as are necessary to implement the project on behalf of the Elk River
Police Department and to be the fiscal agent administering the grant.
Passed and adopted this 6`'' day of October 2008.
