Council motion calking for a special meeting on Monday,. November 10, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. or immediately
following the EDA meeting (whichever is latex) to canvas the results of the General Election.
Background/Discussion
According to state statue, the City is required to canvas the results of the General Election within seven
days .after the General Election. A quorum of the Council acts as the Canvassing Board and must adopt a
resolution certifying the results of the General Election by November 11, 2008.
