SUBJECT: Benefit Concert for Lion's Park Apartment
Fire Victims
On Friday, October 10, 2008, a benefit concert will be held to help the victims of the Lion's
Park Apartment fire. The concert will be held outside at the Alliance Church parking lot.
The event is sponsored by CAER, Hope Filled Hands, and River Center. The concert will
be held after the Elk River -Anoka football game and will be free to the public. Donations
will be accepted at the door and will go directly to benefit the needs of the apartment fire
victims.
Three bands have been scheduled to appear; two from the Minneapolis area and one from
Elk River. Additional sponsors include Crossing Church (an organization helping with the
entire production), Alliance Church, Grand Rental Station, Chanticlear Pizza, and the UPS
Store.
This is another fine example of the outpouring of support from our outstanding community.
