Action Requested
Staff requests approval from City Council to authorize the expenditure of $20,000 for the
installation of a concrete floor in the Public Works storage building by Majestic Masonry of Elk
River.
Background/Discussion
The Public Works storage building now has a section of floor approximately 45 feet by 100 feet
that is class 5 gravel. Staff will be on hand to address questions from the October 6 Council
meeting and further discuss the quotes from the four different masonry contractors. Please see
attached list.
Financial Impact
The 2008 budget contains $20,000 that was designated for the completion of the floor in this
building.
