SUBJECT: Ordinance Amendment by the City
of Elk River, Public Hearing Case
No. OA 94-7
Overview
Over the past several months staff has been completing a review of the
subdivision ordinance and considering appropriate amendments. These
discussions have included the Planning Commission at two of their workshop
meetings, and last month at a public hearing. In addition, approximately a
month ago, a meeting with local developers was arranged to discuss a
number of these changes. However, the Planning Commission did not take
action on the proposed ordinance at last months public hearing meeting and
• has requested additional time to review the proposed ordinance. Therefore,
this will once again be considered by the Planning Commission at their June
27th regular meeting.
Recommendation
It is recommended the City Council table this item until the July 17th City
Council meeting.
