Mayor Klinzing is asked to present Mr. Jay Dehn with his 30-year plaque on behalf of the City of Elk
River and the Elk River Fire and Ambulance Service.
Background/Discussion
Jay Dehn started with the Elk River Fire Department on November 1, 1978 and continues to be an active
member of the Fire Department. Jay is a firefighter assigned to Fire Station #1. The Fire Department
has experienced many changes in Jay Dehn's 30 years of service and dedication to our community and
Fire Department response area. On behalf of the membership of the Elk River Fire Department, I would
like to thank Firefighter Jay Dehn fox 30 years of dedicated service to the citizens of Elk River.
I believe it is very important we recognize the members of the Elk River Fire Department for their
dedication to the citizens of our community. Jay Dehn has been and continues to be an asset to the City
of Elk River, and the Elk River Fire Department. Congratulations to Jay Dehn!
