SUBJECT: Consider Tour of Public Safety Facility on March 24 at 5:30 p.m.
Spring is approaching we are seeing the temperature warm up and the daylight extended later
into the evening. Accordingly, there is enough light and warmth to take a reasonably
comfortable tour of the Public Safety Facility. Hopefully, the entire Council can come one
hour early to the City Council meeting on March 24, 2003 so that a tour of the facility can be
given. A 5:30 pm to 6:20 pm tour should be sufficient to see the entire facility. Kraus
Anderson Construction Manager Lynn Mann, Assistant Police Chief Jeff Beahen, and Fire
Chief Bruce West will be available to help lead the tour. Hardhats will be provided and the
press is welcome. Technically, this would be a special City Council meeting and, if a quorum
can make this tour, then a special Council meeting should be called.
