SEALED BIDS OPENED FOR OLD POLICE VEHICLES
This is to inform the City Council that sealed bids were accepted
until 2:00 p.m. on April 2, 1996, for the sale of two (2) 1993 Ford
Crown Victorias and one (1) 1988 Chevrolet Caprice.
The sealed bids were opened and witnessed by Sergeant Brad Rolfe,
TAC Kathy Anderson, and Secretary/Receptionist Shari Peterson. The
highest bids were from Welcome Motors for the two (2) 1993 Fords in
the amount of $5,085.00 (five thousand, eighty-five dollars) each.
The highest bid for the 1988 Chevrolet was in the amount of
$1,501.99 (one thousand, five hundred and one dollars and ninety-
nine cents) by David Zerwas.
For city Council information, last year the 1992 Ford Crown
Victoria that was sold through the same process netted the City
$4,275.00 (four thousand, two hundred and seventy-five dollars).
The bids this year were $810.00 (eight hundred and ten dollars)
higher.
I am pleased with the bid results and request that the City Council
review the bid sheet and determine if you want to accept the
highest bids as submitted.
