A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION ENTERING INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY AND THE CITY
OF ELK RIVER POLICE DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS,
the Elk River City Council has authorized the City to enter
into a grant agreement between the Minnesota Department
of Pubhc Safety and the City of Elk River Pohce Department;
and
WHEREAS,
the agreement pertains to the Community Oriented Pohcing
(COPS) Grant Program; and
WHEREAS,
the City Administrator and Pohce Chief have been given the
authority to sign and enter into the above-mentioned
agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that on July 8, 1996, the City
Council unanimously voted to authorize the City of Elk River
Pohce Department to enter into an agreement for the COPS
Grant Program with the Minnesota Department of Pubhc
Safety.
Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council this 8th day of July, 1996.
